Why am I a Hybrid Artist?

Julia Andrus CardWhile pure digital scrapbooking offers a great solution for archiving and preserving your memories there is something to be said about holding a project in your hands. There is a real organic experience that takes place when you use your hands to create something. Hybrid scrapbooking & crafting allows us to combine the best of both worlds. From the technology side we get a wealth of cost and time effective supplies. From the traditional side we get the experience of creating something with our hands. There is a certain joy one gets from getting their hands dirty while creating art and with that, our joy is multiplied by the product of our efforts. Plus, by using digital supplies in a hybrid way we are no longer limited to a two-dimensional plane. Check out our How To section for step-by-step instructions on fabulous three-dimensional projects. And get out there and start crafting!
