Sunshine Card

Scatter some sunshine of your own with this gorgeous card.

Final Sample Size: 5” x 6”

SUPPLIES

cardstock (yellows, black)
glossy paper (white)
Perfect Medium
Perfect Pearls
(metallics)
Distress Inks (dry marigold, scattered straw, old paper, black soot)
die cut (sun)
stamps (inspirational words)
small tags
spray bottle

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Stamp image repeatedly on glossy card stock using Perfect Medium. Apply Distress Inks directly to glossy paper. Once you have finished applying inks gently buff with a paper towel to make the resist more vibrate.

Step 2. Spritz with water and blot, don’t wipe, off excess water to create a mottle effect. Tear off 1/3.

Step 3. Create faux hardware corner. Click here for instructions. We used the McGill corner punch, but you can create your own by hand.

Step 4. Adhere a strip of yellow paper to 1/3 of the card. Distress edges of card, torn pieces, and sun die cut.

Step 5. Apply Perfect Pearls to sun die cut.

Step 6. Apply postage to sun die cut and trim.

Step 7. Distress small tags, stamp inspirational words, and tie with fibers.

Step 8. Assembly card.
