INSTRUCTIONS

The size of paper used will determine the size of the box. Your box will be approximately 1/3 the size of your paper. For example if you would like a 4” square box then you need one 12” x 12” paper for the top of the box and one 11 ½” x 11 ½” for the bottom of the box. Remember the paper used for the bottom of your box should always be ½” smaller then the top.

Step 1. Apply inks to paper using a sponge or directly with an ink pad.

Step 2. Squirt paper with water using a spray bottle (not a mister), let it rest for a few seconds and then blot (don’t rub) excess water with a paper towel.

Step 3. Allow paper to dry for only a few seconds and then dust with Perfect Pearls. The Perfect Pearls will only stick to the wet areas creating a luminous mottled effect!

Step 4. Fold box, simple instructions click here.

Step 5. Apply inks to ribbon.

Step 6. Crinkle ribbon in paper towel and spray with water. Compress paper towel in your hand letting the colors bleed on ribbon. Tie ribbon around box.

Step 7. Finish box by layering a collage photo on matching cardstock, and glue to the top of box over the ribbon. Glue on marble. Distress box with ink, if desired.
