Key To Love Card

One of the keys to love is this gift from the heart, a handmade card.

SUPPLIES

cardstock (burgundy, cream, olive green, sage)
die cuts (3–4 keys)
Perfect Medium
Perfect Pearls
(berry twist, kiwi, gold)
Perfect Ink Refresher
UTEE
(clear)
Distress Inks (dusty concord, shabby shutters, vintage photo)
glue (Pioneer)
stamp (JudiKins 2481 J)
brads
small tag
fibers
paper towels
boarder punch
pen
mixing pallet
heat tool
brushes
spray bottle

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Load stamp with Perfect Medium and stamp image onto burgundy cardstock. This will leave a watermark, make the card base.

Step 2. Apply Distress Inks to the edges of a piece of cream cardstock and mat with the remaining cardstock colors. Adhere to the left side of the card.

Step 3. Attach brads along the right hand side of the card.

Step 4. Add water to Perfect Pearls to form creamy paints.

Step 5. Sprits burgundy cardstock with Perfect Ink Refresher and quickly dab the paints over the entire surface.

Step 6. Spray with a fine mist of water.

Spritz with water

Step 7. Manipulate the paper to make the paint run, spray with more water while holding the paper vertical if you want the pigments to blend more. This creates the Northern Lights paper

Mix colors

Step 8. Punch a boarder on two sides of a piece of Northern Lights paper and adhere to front of card.

Step 9. Paint one die cut (this will be the top die cut) with gold Perfect Pearl paint. Make the faux metal key. Click here for instructions.

Step 10. Apply Distress Inks to the small tag and write the word “Love”. Tie tag around the faux key and adhere to the front of the card.
