Faux Hammered Metal

SUPPLIES

3–4 matching cardstock die cuts or shapes
glue
(Pioneer)
Perfect Pearls (patina kit)
brush
mixing pallet
file or sandpaper

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Layer and glue together the die cut shapes as evenly as possible.

Step 2. Use a file or a fine grade of sand paper to sand off the rough edges.

Step 3. Mix Perfect Pearls with water to form a creamy paint and paint the piece including the sides.

Step 4. Lay the piece flat and use the end of a brush to pound dents into the surface.

Step 5. Add patina effects by stippling Perfect Pearls onto the surface.

Step 6. For added distressing, lightly sand the edges and surface after the paint is dry.
